Both of our flagship health products — fish oil and bilberry extract — trace back to Nordic Native Pristine (NNP), based in Canada. Back in 2015, NNP’s founder had the fortune to meet a group of leading physicians from Sweden’s Karolinska Institute — the body that reviews the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine — who brought groundbreaking academic research in human nutritional health. Through these Swedish doctors, NNP’s founder discovered how deeply the Nordic medical community values natural health therapies, and how much further Nordic physicians had advanced the theory and clinical application of nutrition and wellness compared to their North American counterparts.

Health Canada operates the world’s only regulatory, oversight, planning, and database system dedicated specifically to health supplements. Building on this foundation, NNP’s founder established Nordic Native Pristine in Toronto in 2016. NNP was founded on a deep collaboration with Swedish physician Dr. Jamid.
